The Role of Pharmacy Recovery Network

Oregon Pharmacy Recovery Network (OR PRN) is a division of the Board of Pharmacy directed by a committee appointed by the Board, the existing PRN Committee and the Program Director of PRN.
OR PRN was founded in 1988 to address the issue of chemical, mental or physical impairment of pharmacists and pharmacy personnel. Specifically, OR PRN:

(1) Serves as a platform for recognition, treatment and rehabilitation of impaired pharmacists, pharmacy interns and pharmacy technicians

(2) Acts as advocate for contracted impaired pharmacists and pharmacy personnel before the Board and other legal entities

 (3) Seeks to educate and inform the profession of pharmacy concerning addiction, mental illness and physical disease as they impact our profession and our professional duties
